Hi my name is Jodie Coward and I am a professional portrait photographer based in the beautiful North of Tasmania.

I love that you are interested in preserving those magic organic moments that you share with your family, and I would love to help you on this precious journey.

I know I have a package that will suit your budget and personal desires when it comes to investing in photos that you will treasure forever.

I have a documentary style of photography that tells your unique story, with an emphasis on capturing the real emotions, and connections that you as a family share. I like to be a fly on the wall at your session, and capture you and your family playing or immersed in activity blissfully unaware that I am there. When you book your session you will receive a memory list to help inspire you to become involved in your session, and make some magical moments for me to capture.



Investment:


A session fee of $75 is required for a portrait session including family, newborn, maternity, couples (engagement), children, and pets. Wedding packages are separate, and I can provide you with an information pack upon request.


I will provide you with a session up to 2 hours at a location of your choice, preferably somewhere that has special meaning to you and your family.

I am a natural light photographer and I strictly run sessions late in the afternoon a couple of hours before sunset to ensure that the light is at it’s best, and I can capture you in the most flattering light possible.

The $75 session fee is separate from product purchase, and you can view my full product list below for current pricing.



My products are available within a package but can also be purchased separately, and I welcome you to purchase extra prints, or photo books etc as an addition to your package if required. Prices as listed.

I like to discuss your session with you prior to the date, and go over any questions you may have, and we can discuss the vision you have for your session. We will also discuss the location, and products you may be thinking of ordering.

The location of your session is very important because it tells the story of you and your family, particularly if it is a location of meaning where you feel connected to your loved ones. I also encourage you to bring along everyday objects that are significant to you and your family that will help to capture your unique story, producing authentic personal imagery that will proudly hang on your walls. I have had clients turn up for sessions with guitars, handmade blankets, favourite toys, and footballs just to name a few.

When I have edited all of your photos I will organise a suitable time to catch up and preview the images and you can place your order. I will have the best 20 - 30 images from your session fully edited and ready for viewing. I do not provide raw, or unedited digital files, or viewing of all the digital files from your session.




Deposit:

I require the $75 session fee to secure your booking, and if you wish to cancel for whatever reason the fee is not refundable, however you can pass it onto a friend, or family member and they can then take your booking.


Rescheduling:

Because I mainly run outside sessions, and we live in beautiful Tassie with our unpredictable weather I may occasionally need to postpone a session and rebook. I would rather do this and ensure you get the photos you are wanting rather than risk it and end up with images you might not be 100% happy with.
(I do run newborn sessions inside) but all other sessions are strictly outdoors where I can capture you in your own environment, or at a location that has meaning to you, and I can capture you in that amazing natural afternoon sun. If we do need to reschedule, your deposit is safe and we will just organise another time that works for both of us no matter how long that takes to organise.


Refund policy:


Of course I want to provide you with images that you will love to show off and treasure forever, but things do not always go as planned, especially when working outside, and with children. For this reason if you are unhappy with your images for whatever the reason I will happily schedule another session or just refund you your $75 if this is what you would prefer and we can leave it at that.

I will try my hardest to provide you with unique images that tell your individual story, and help you stop time for just a second, but I urge you to look at my website and face book page to get a feel for my style before booking a session so you know what you will be getting.

I love the photos where no-one is looking at the camera because they are looking at each other, having a laugh or even sneaking a kiss, and capturing the genuine love and connections between people, especially families. I do love my sessions to be unstructured, and particularly with children I like to sit back and document them being kids with not a great deal of direction. I like to provide kids with a distraction such as bubbles, bucket and spade, beach ball, or butterfly net and capture the magic and wonder of childhood. As previously mentioned if you have something special that you would like to bring along to your session like a trike, or favourite teddy that would also be fantastic.

Photo Books:


Photo books are a great way to share your photos with family and friends, or to just flip through now and then to step back in time.

The photo books I provide you with come with a custom cover, 16 thick pages that are flush mount, and stain resistant. My books also have a presentation box to keep it safe for years.


My photo books are hard cover, square 10x10 inch, 18 thick pages, and come in a presentation box. They are available with package Treasure, or as an extra for $450.

Extra pages can be added for $50 each.

Payment:



I have credit card facilities, I also accept cash, cheque, money order, and bank transfer for payment. Payment is to made during your viewing session, where you will view the photos from your session, and choose your products. I am happy to travel to your home for your viewing session at a time that is convenient for you.
