The Psychologist is Sharon Clark.
What are her qualifications, accreditations & experience?
Sharon has a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honours in Psychology from the University of Queensland and a Master of Clinical Psychology degree from the University of Queensland.
Sharon is a registered provider with Medicare, DVA, WorkCover, and NDIS.
Sharon is also accredited to provide Non-directive Pregnancy Support Counselling; a 3 session service available under Medicare (with a GP referral), to women within 12 months of a pregnancy.
Sharon has experience working with children, teenagers and adults across a broad range of issues and conditions.
Do I need a referral?
No you don't need a referral, however, a referral from a GP, Paediatrician or Child Psychiatrist, may mean that you can access a Medicare rebate.
How long is a session?
A typical session is 50 minutes duration
What are the costs and rebates?
The standard session rate is $130.
With a referral/mental health care plan, eligible clients can access a medicare rebate of $84.80 per session, for up to 10 sessions.
Health Care Card holders may be bulk billed.
You may also be eligible for a refund from your private health insurer.
