The Terrace parkrun

Here is a description of the course:

Start just south of the Gazeebo near the fishing trawlers. Head North between the river and the trees, through the “Choke Point” opposite the hotel.

Continue along the river staying left. This is uneven ground.

Keep heading North until you reach a loose gravel rise to the right known as “Worimi Climb”. Here you join the paved path heading North past the Raymond Terrace Athletics Field. Continue to wind your way North to just under the bridge where you turn around just before the boat ramp.

Heading South along the path until you reach “The Wall” and head down the right hand side to the grass again. Staying left as you head through the Choke Point where you join the paved path and wind through the play area and follow the path all the way South to the turn around point.

Upon heading North again, take a quick left on to the bitumen and run past the fishing trawlers and repeat the first lap.

On the second trip south after turning around, head straight instead of heading left, and race towards the finish line where you can wind down through the natural funnel created by the trees and picnic tables.
