The Sails Motel

The Sails Motel is 15 minutes north of Byron Bay and 30 minutes from both Coolongatta and Ballina airports.

The Sails is located on Tweed Street. Drive in, park for free and hire one of our bike’s to explore the beaches, river and boat harbor. Alternatively, walk around town and take in a great choice of café’s, restaurants and boutique retailers.

Our pool is surrounded by gardens with BBQ and terrace areas setup for guests to relax or socialise. Free Wi-Fi is available.

Trawlers Bar & Kitchen is onsite and open Thursday-Sunday for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Otherwise take your pick of restaurants in town, one of our personal favourites being Jones & Co, located directly across the road and specialise in ‘Allpress’ coffee, breakfast and gifts.
