The Record Crate

The Record Crate is a restaurant, bar, live venue and vintage record store that sells Rock'N'Roll food to match. Located in the bustling heart of Glebe in Sydney, Australia.

If craft beers, soul food, and live music is your thing, we're the place you're looking for! With a focus on showcasing local Sydney bands, as well as interstate and international acts, The Record Crate provides an intimate setting with a friendly, comfortable atmosphere.

We are constantly adding to our collection of vintage and rare albums - you never know what you might find looking through the crates.

Our food is prepared fresh daily. Chef Tayeb Michaels has many years experience with a variety of cuisine, from vegan to veg to meat dishes. "Tarbs" also has a solid DJ background with a damn fine crew of fellow DJ's who pop in regularly downstairs to play their own gigs or in between bands.

We have a good selection of wine, craft beers, and spirits - with other beverages also available.
