Dear Patrons, Great news we have found a feasible venue!

Ground Floor 40 Tank Street (next to Mrs Luu's Vietnamese Canteen - close to Roma St Station)

We have finalised a lease and paid deposit, keys in hand shortly.

We have appointed Greg Currie as manager whom will bring a lot of potential to the club. Greg is formerly from venues such as The Boo, Carina Leagues Club.

Marketing, promotions and entertainment is being arranged. The fit out is taking place. Business Cards are being printed. We are happy to hear from members on what entertainment they may like. Feel free to post on our page.

We anticipate opening in AUGUST. YES, OPENING!!!

Club President John O'Brien will be on leave early June an back in July.

What does the club offer?

We are a not-for-profit association that is here to serve members, guests and visitors. The club's focus is to provide a social atmosphere for public servants. The club trades weekdays (opens weekends for special events) and is a great venue for functions at a highly competitive price for the CBD area.

Our Background:

The club was formerly located in a Heritage listed building in the Brisbane CBD. Its history stretches back to 1862 and primarily served to print the official record of the proceedings of the House of Parliament. The Club Central Building demonstrates the principal characteristics of a building of its type, and the design and plan is illustrative of the process of a nineteenth/early twentieth century printing office. As part of destination Brisbane the club was forced to relocate premises.
