The Orange Trees

Leaving the City of Gladstone behind we headed for a country change.
Returning to our roots in NSW in the hinterland of the mid North Coast.
Wanting a change of pace and a more enjoyable lifestyle for our children. Allowing them more freedom to grow and experience some of the childhood we were lucky enough to have.

We have been here now just over a year and have faced a few trials, challenges and perhaps a hard couple of kicks from reality. All worth while to see our kids outside enjoying life on the farm.
The look on their faces when they saw the birth of our first piglets, then getting their fist cuddle. The freedom of afternoon swims in the river without the worry of crocs or stingers after 8 years in QLD. Swinging on an old tyre hung from a tree who needs parks.

We started off with a vision of what we wanted to achieve on the farm, without relinquishing that dream we have fine tuned it a little.
2017 we will focus on producing our beautiful Heritage Berkshire Pigs.
We have succeeded in obtaining our nucleus herd in our first year. Now to improve pastures for them, which is a challenge when it is so dry.

We will continue to grow our Vegetables and be as self sufficient for ourselves as we possibly can. Our main aim is to be healthy happy and just enjoy farm life with our kids.
