HAND IN HAND PARENTING

Based on over 40 years of working with parents and children, Parenting by Connection offers families concrete tools that resolve everyday family challenges, build close relationships and bring more fun to family life.

Our approach nurtures the parent-child relationship and focuses on children’s innate desire to love and be loved. RACHEL SCHOFIELD

I offer classes, talks and consultations online/by phone and locally in the Bega Valley, NSW, Australia. I’m a Mentor for Instructors in Training at Hand in Hand Parenting and a Moderator on the online Hand in Hand Discussion Group. I’m also a regular contributor to Nurture – Australia’s Natural Parenting Magazine.

In addition to my training with Hand in Hand Parenting, I’ve trained in Attachment Theory with Circle of Security and Neufeld Institute and completed Advanced Training with Larry Cohen, author of Playful Parenting. Prior to having children I spent most of my working life setting up and managing community based projects, many of which involved working with children and young people.
