The Chalet Guesthouse and Studio

Bed and breakfast style accommodation in an historic home. All rooms have private facilities, some with big claw foot baths and some with walk in showers. Set in the quiet village of Medlow Bath, it is only a short walk to the historic Hydro Majestic Hotel, and a short drive to Leura/Katoomba and/or Blackheath where the majority of attractions, dining and shopping areas are found. We only have seven guest rooms so you can be assured of a more personalised service than the big hotels.

Our restaurant is open to the public nearly every Friday and Saturday night and offers a delicious limited choice menu with everything prepared on the premises by our wonderful chef. Check our main website for example menus.

The Chalet is filled with our private collection of Australian art, ceramics and collectables. Many of our guests like to take some time to admire the works in the collection.

We are always happy to help with information about what is available to see and do in the World Heritage Blue Mountains National Park. The most commonly mentioned regret is the guests wish they could stay longer and experience more of what is on offer.
