Teagan Jane Photography

I am a qualified professional photographer with my diploma in photo imaging and I have been practicing photography for 6 years now. But technicalities aside, I believe that the most important part of my job is being ‘real’ and making relationships with my clients, which is a special skill to acquire.

Almost 2 years ago I decided to run TJP full time. That makes me smile by just saying that.
So far, I haven’t looked back and I just love that every morning when I wake up it can be like pulling my day ahead written on a note, out of a hat; there is something new to explore or someone new to meet or something meaningful to work on, every single day.

I have assisted many great photographers, travelled and worked as a photographer in the United States and I have met people from all walks of life who have taught me lots of lessons along the way.
My experiences over the past decade have been exciting, challenging and life-changing. I thank them and the wise people I have learned from. They have shaped me into the business owner I am today. I believe that I am always learning and honestly, I almost always get something back in return from every session/every client.

It’s a very rewarding job.

I am truly grateful to create, capture and document stories.
My passion is to produce fine art portrait moments that are filled with spirit and emotion, in locations that allow us to be ourselves and truly embrace the environment around us.

I am in my element lost in a landscape. That’s where I get most of my inspiration from. Mother Mature whispers many secrets to me.

A friend once told me that my images hold a big hug within them and when you look at them it’s like receiving a hug. That makes me feel fulfilled.
