At Sweetwater Physiotherapy our mission is to assist clients in achieving their optimum health, fitness and specific goals through an active approach involving careful listening, accurate assessment, client education, and individualised treatment plans.

We provide high quality, professional services to people of all ages, abilities and circumstances in Katherine and surrounding areas.

We offer the convenience of both a clinic-based service, and a mobile service so we can see you in the pool, gym, work, home, or wherever is appropriate or convenient for you. So, whether you find it difficult to get out of your home, you want to get some functional rehabilitation during your normal daily activities, or want to have a pool-based rehab programme set up, Sweetwater Physiotherapy can accommodate your requirements.

Sweetwater Physiotherapy is owned and operated by Niamh Charles, a physiotherapist with a clinical career spanning 10 years and a vast array of conditions and injuries, both here in Australia and overseas. Niamh is a highly skilled and experienced physiotherapist, with a wealth of clinical and research knowledge. Treatments are tailored to suit your abilities, goals and lifestyle. She collaborates with you to offer accurate, realistic and lasting solutions to your problems.

Niamh has lived in Katherine since 2013 and has built valuable relationships with other healthcare providers in the region through her work at Katherine Hospital and in local private practice. This enables her to easily connect and collaborate with other local healthcare providers to ensure you are getting the complete care that you need.
