Sun Patrol Skin Cancer Clinic-Officer

The main purpose of Sun Patrol's service is to provide accurate, thorough medical examination of the whole skin surface for signs of skin cancer.
Our doctors are fully trained and experienced in the technique of dermoscopy (looking at the skin surface under 20-30x magnification under high illumination for more accurate diagnosis of skin cancer). They are also qualified in dermal imaging and when appropriate will take pictures of any suspicious lesions for later follow up and comparison.

If a skin cancer is diagnosed our doctors can offer treatment at the clinic in over 90% of cases using surgery under local anaesthetic or prescription anti cancer creams. Larger, more complex cases may require referral on to a plastic surgeon.
