Mental health is the most important part of survival; due to mental health disturbances there has been an alarming number of suicide's in the South-Eastern areas of Melbourne, and all over Australia. This epidemic has concerned the nation, as youth as young as 14 years of age are resorting to suicide to end their mental health disturbances and bullying.

StreamOfLight aim to reduce the stigma associated with suicide which inhibits the nation of talking about it - talking about suicide cannot lead an individual to end their life, rather it raises critical awareness to prevent the rising numbers of suicide. StreamOfLight Inc. aim to educate youth on the danger signs of mental health disturbances, within themselves and their friends and families.

StreamOfLight Inc. also wish to create a peer support network; to be there for those who feel they have no one to talk to.
