Squatter Coffey Bush Trail Rides

Travel on horseback for an outback adventure in the wild west of Victoria with local Squatter Coffey.

Explore the natural delights of the Mallee including creeks, rivers, dry lakes, natural bush reserves and visit Victoria’s largest fresh water lake, Lake Hindmarsh.

Beginners and advanced riders are all welcome.

Sessions and pricing:

These are designed for 1 to 6 people for ½ day to 3 days. So you can come on your own or with a friend, spend a half-day or up to 3 days. It’s up to you.

These sessions all cater for the beginner or advanced rider.

Half day $75
This 4 hour session gives you a taste of horse riding. Morning or afternoon sessions available.

More than half a day $100
This 6 hour session will give you more than a taste of riding. You can get so much more out of your experience for those extra two hours. Not only will you improve your skills and see more of the scenic countryside but a bush lunch is included in the price.

Full day $140
This 8 hour session gives you much more than a taste of horse riding. You get to explore the far reaches of the Mallee and enjoy a relaxed lunch in the bush land. This is designed so you get more out of horse riding and exploring.

Full day and night $200
Not only do you get a full 8 hours of riding with lunch, dinner and accommodation included in the price but you get to experience a night sitting by the campfire sharing tales while enjoying the stars above. Why rush home? Comfortable accommodation at Squatters is just what you need after a full day of riding.

Pack Horse bush trail rides $250 per day
This is designed for a truly outback adventure. You get to sleep under the stars and experience the true wonder of the Mallee. The maximum number of people is 4.

BYO long pants and a collared shirt, suitable footwear, water bottle, a sense of humour and adventure. Helmets are supplied.
