Six Hours in the Saddle

SIX HOURS IN THE SADDLE, the #6HITS, the grass-roots XC MTB event we all know and love. An endurance mountain bike race, it can be entered by solo riders or in teams of 2, 3 or 4 (...guys, girls or mixed). The solo rider or team who completes the most laps wins.

In 2016 we are stoked to continue offering the 3-hour category (...yup, the #3HITS). So you have the choice of 3 or 6 hours. Solo or team. It's up to you.

Solo riders will be testing themselves against the course, the clock and each other. Teams compete in a relay format. Get together, enjoy a long-weekend and ride the sweet single track of the Beechworth Mountain Bike Park.

There will also be fantastic food and coffee, a kids’ event, great amenities, plenty of give-aways...AND we’ll be screening the AFL Grand Final on a huge outdoor screen.
