The organisation opened its doors from the Mare and Foal Mall moving a few years later to be co-located with the Scone Library in Kelly Street. As the services grew and with the need for additional space the service relocated in 2000 into the offices behind their existing location.
The service has four part time employees and a full time Manager, as well as a team of volunteers to run the many programs that are available to for the community. In January 2010 the Neighbourhood Centre were provided access to a shop front location. The move to 130 Liverpool Street the old Council Building provided a visual impact and one that would allow the Centre to grow.
The Neighbourhood Centre has established a service that generates its own income to run varied programs for the community.
