Rotary Club of Blacktown City Inc.

The Rotary Club of Blacktown City, was chartered on 16th November 1961. It has over 40 members, spanning a dozen cultures and nationalities. The Club places a strong emphasis on Youth as our young people are the leaders of tomorrow.

The Rotary Club of Blacktown City has strong partnerships with Blacktown City Council, Blacktown Workers Club, Blacktown RSL, Westpoint Blacktown, Blacktown Sun and Blacktown Advocate local newspapers. The funding provided, the in-kind donations and the media coverage allow for the opportunity to be involved in a variety of projects in the local and international communities.

The Club maintains several important and interesting projects, such as the Police Officer of the Year Award, Blacktown and Nirimba TAFE Vocational and Scholarship Awards, Seniors Christmas Party for 350 elderly residents in local nursing homes, Citizenship Awards to 11 High Schools and 10 Primary Schools, Pride of Workmanship Awards, as well as support of The Rotary Foundation and Australian Rotary Health.
