Roma Mitchell Community Legal Centre Inc.

The Roma Mitchell Community Legal Centre is a not-for-profit Incorporated Association in South Australia.

Established in 1979, and incorporated in 1981, The Centre was originally known as the Norwood Human Rights Centre until the year 2000, at which time it was renamed in honour of the late Dame Roma Flinders Mitchell. Dame Roma was the first Australian woman to be appointed a Queen's Counsel, Judge, and Governor of a State.

The Centre is staffed by volunteers and relies entirely on donations. It is actively involved in community projects that revolve around Australian Indigenous Reconciliation and Human Rights.

It also operates a pro bono Evening Advisory Service between 6:00pm - 7:00pm on Monday and Thursday evenings.
