Rocking Horse Restorations

The Rocking Horse Restorations Collection is a large and unique collection of rocking horses, trikes and peddle ponies, not known anywhere else in Australia. It is located at Murrami, 20 minutes from Leeton, 30 minutes from Griffith and Darlington Point and 40 minutes from
Narrandera.

A must see when travelling to the Riverina and Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area.

The collection consists of over 50 rocking horses and horse toys as well as other unusual items, antiques, collectables and artwork — hand tools, sewing machines, china, quilts plus old farm machinery set in large lawns and gardens.

Visitors can see how rocking horses are made and the different material they are made from. Small horses all the way through to very large horses on both bow and swing stands dating back to 1860s.

The collection is housed in new roomy accommodation beautifully set out, to cater for coaches and smaller groups. We can provide morning or afternoon teas and lunches by prior arrangement.
