Puzzle Park Equestrian

Puzzle Park Equestrian offers private, semi private and group lessons, catering to children aged 5+. Lessons are by private arrangement only.

Lessons are taught by Qualified Riding Instructors, who hold current working with children's checks and first aid qualifications.

About us:
Lori is a Level 1 Canadian Equestrian Federation Certified Coach and has been teaching since 2001. She has a Hunter/Jumper background in competing and coaching as well as equitation. Lori has owned horses for the last 16 years both in Canada and in Australia.

Steph is an Australian Horse Safety accredited Instructor. She has been teaching since 2009, working at a popular riding school in Melbourne. Steph has been working with horses for around 15 years and has owned horses for the last 8 years. Steph also has qualifications in Psychology and holds her Masters of Counselling which she uses to help shape her teaching methods.

Aim:
Lori and Steph aim to teach students and their parents not only about riding, but horse ownership in its entirety. Students are taught the basics of horse care such as catching, rugging, grooming and feeding. They aim to provide a friendly welcoming atmosphere that is conducive to learning.

Holiday Programs are a fun day for the kids and require no previous experience. Programs are available over the school holidays, and involve a whole day program where children are able to get an insight into horse ownership for a day. They involve catching, brushing and tacking up lessons. This is followed by a formal lesson, lunch break, a games lesson, and then the day is finished by untacking and putting the horses away.
