Megan Darr is an emerging artist who uses art as both a connection to her evolving identity and Aboriginal spirituality; and as a therapeutic method to relax and meditate from the fast paced, ever challenging society around us.
Megan has always felt a connection through art’s depiction of the natural world around us and is her interpretation of the beauty within. All of her pieces are a reflection of her connection to land and her aboriginality. As a descendant of the Mardigan people, Megan incorporates elements of aboriginal design in her contemporary pieces. She believes that all cultures evolve and her art is testament to that. Megan’s art shows soft lines, bright colours and movement through experimenting with different mediums and textures.
