Prospect Community Garden Inc.

The Garden is a ‘shared gardening’ model, rather than individual allotments. Gardeners work together at set times each week and share the produce. The Garden uses organic gardening methods. The garden is open on Tuesday from 09:00 - 12:00 and Saturday from 10:00 - 12:00.

Features of the garden include a children’s garden area, an indigenous garden complete with a native bee hotel, worm farms and several espaliered fruit trees.

Regular workshops are held at the Garden where attendees are taught techniques including composting, worm farming and propagating.

FRIENDS OF PROSPECT COMMUNITY GARDEN

Friends of Prospect Community Garden will enable all interested community members and local businesses to support the work of Prospect Community Garden. You will also receive news of happenings in the garden and invitations to upcoming events. Friends may wish to to participate in workshops held in the garden.

Business friends will benefit from acknowledgement on our website for 12 months and promoted at PCG events.

If you want to help PCG achieve our vision "To be an accessible community resource which promotes the growing of food in environmentally sustainable ways" then being a friend of the garden is the way to go.

An annaul subscription to the Friends of Prospect Community Garden is $20 for a single, $40 per Family with a 50% discount for concession (Pension, Seniors & Students) and $100 for a business.
