I have been and Educator since 2008, previous to that I worked in Health with the government in NT and QLD. I have 4 children aged 13, 9, 7 and 5.
We are all involved in the community with various committees and sports. I am a member of the Moonta Kindergarten Committee and Little Athletics. My children play Netball, Football, Athletics, Dance, Swimming and Scouts

My Philosophy
Children need security, love, affection and a strong relationship with their educators to thrive and develop to their full potential. They challenge us, they make us think, and most of all, they make us laugh.
I believe;
A conflict is an opportunity to teach negotiation and listening.
An injury to another child is an opportunity to practice empathy.
Mealtimes are an opportunity for conversation and manners.
Strengths are to be built upon;
Weaknesses are to be learned from and grown beyond.
Every person regardless of age deserves to be treated with respect, I treat the children respectively and I expect respect from them.
Young children thrive in a stable, predictable environment. So, while I remain flexible to each one’s varying needs each day, our days will follow consistent pattern.

I am a resource for the development of happy and fulfilled children. I do not see myself as the primary care giver. The parents are their child’s most important relationship. Raising a child is probably the single most demanding and challenging task most adults ever take on. At times it can be joyful and delightful; at times it can be unnerving!
