Paul Messara Racing

Paul Messara Racing was founded in 2005, after Paul returned from overseas learning about the training and conditioning of racehorses where he spent time with prominent trainers in Ireland, England and France, visiting the top training centres around the globe in order to create ultimate training environment, regarded as one of Australia’s finest training complexes. Arrowfield Training Centre is dedicated to the thoroughbred athlete that aims to provide services to meet the individual needs of all 50 horses in training, each has its own training program.

Based in the heart of the Australian thoroughbred industry, our facilities include the following:

• 50 large rubber-lined boxes
• Warm-up trotting track
• 2000m visco-ride synthetic track and 1400m straight track with electronic timing
• Equine aqua-exerciser
• 2 horse walkers
• 2 sand-rolls
• 2 treadmills
• 25 day yards
• 75m straight equine swimming pool
• Electronic surveillance system
• 2 horse floats (6-horse)

Paul has trained Group 1 winners Alverta and Ortensia, along with other Stakes performers to note; Mahisara, Beneteau, Mic Mac, Rekindled Alliance, Battlefield, Obvious Choice, Chateau Forte and others.
