In 2016 Things have certainly changed in the detailing world and Ceramic coating is the newest kid on the block,while not being the cheapest option it is by far the best option we can suggest for your car.
Not only will the paintwork be returned to BETTER than factory BEFORE we apply the coatings it will stay like that for many years with very little if any maintenance.

PAINT CORRECTION PACKAGES

Our most common question is (What actually happens to my car)

All detailers have different processes and stages of work that they do,this is natural because all jobs are different and people go for all sorts of different finishes depending on their taste and budget.

The following is a summary of the paint correction stages we offer,this covers the vast majority of the work we do on a regular basis.

Paint Correction prep.

Generally we start off the correction process with a full snow foam soak followed by a High pressure rinse.
This is followed by a Gentle 2 bucket Ph neutral hand wash with a specialized micro-fibre wash pad that thoroughly and meticulously cleans your vehicle.

At this point during the wash process the whole outside is thoroughly cleaned including the wheels and under guards.

After the car is clean and dirt free we set about decontaminating your paintwork

We use 2 processes for this depending on the job and the budget we are working with.
A clay bar is most commonly used to safely remove all contamination and get the paint ready for one of our correction packages.
We do occasionally use a specialized Iron remover but this is mainly reserved for our upper end work and especially on wheels.

After the decontamination is complete your car is thoroughly rinsed again with high pressure hose.

At this point your car is now dried using a micro-fibre and is ready for us to work on.

Stage 1 Correction.
This is really reserved for brand new cars that have come straight from a car yard and need very minimal work before applying a ceramic coating or similar.
This is not for cars that have a lot of swirls and general wear and tear.
Very light compounds are used and sometimes we even opt to go straight for a polish then sealant,as always it depends on the job.
This type of correction is usually part of a coating package but can be done as a stand alone process on new cars that runs in the $250-$350 mark.

Stage 2 Correction.
This stage is our budget package for the customers who don't want to go to the expense of our comprehensive stage 3 package but still want to see a significant difference to their paint work.
Generally with this package we go over the car twice,once with a cutting compound of which the coarseness will depend on the cars paintwork and then again with a top shelf polish.
This package is finished off with Juice show wax unless the owner specifies something more exclusive.
With this package Our customers can still expect a significant improvement on their paintwork and the ease of maintenance will also be significantly improved.
Prices run in the $250-$350 range.

Stage 3 Correction.
This is our signature package.
We call it a "full on transformation" of your vehicles paint work.
With this package as well as the significant prep work we go over your car a minimum of 3 times.
if your car is anything worse than a 7 out of 10 we start the process with a rotary buff and cutting pad with suitable compound.

This process removes the vast majority of scratches, marring ,marks from bird droppings, faded paint and just about everything else.

After this we change machines to the dual action polisher, again with a suitable medium cutting compound to suit where the vehicle is at in the correction process.
At this point any scratches swirls and fading will be long gone from your paint and it will be starting to take shape.

This is where we take it to the next level.

Our next step is the polishing process this is done exclusively with a dual action polisher.
We painstakingly and meticulously go over your vehicle until it is as flawless as the paint job will allow in all light conditions.

At this point with the car highly polished we can either add a top shelf wax or go for a ceramic or glass coating like Opticote.

With this stage 3 package i would go further and say we basically do what ever it takes to get a flawless finish.
There is no quick or easy way to do this so please note this can take 14+ hours to complete.
This process will transform your car.
This package runs at $350 -$500+ Depending how many hours it will take to transform your car.

Stage 4 Correction
This is really reserved for show cars or anything that requires wet rubbing to achieve a flat top 60 show finish with no orange peel.
Because of the complexity and the time it takes to complete this task we have to see the vehicle before we can give an accurate quote.
Generally we work with the owner the whole way and offer advice and fully explain our process while it is happening.
Our own show car has had this process and regularly wins trophies for paintwork including at shows such as Summernats and Motor Ex competing with the best of the best in Australia.
If your paint job will allow it we can get your car there too.

Please note these are just correction packages not detailing packages and while all facets outside of your car will be cleaned or re newed the interior will only be given a basic clean.
