The Palm Place Nursery is Melbourne’s largest tropical nursery. Starting from humble beginnings in our father’s backyard and continuing under the operation of our families second generation the Palm Place now encompasses 4 acres in Greenvale on Melbourne’s outer northern edge with over 200 varieties of palm and plants in every possible size.

The reason for our success? We follow 4 fundamental principles; sell only the best quality plants, have qualified and honest staff, have a welcoming environment, and give our customers the lowest possible prices.

Our combined experience of over 60 years in the nursery and landscaping industry means that we can ensure that our customers get the very best at the lowest price. Every week our team of staff are sourcing plants from throughout Australia and are in daily communication with growers and suppliers to ensure that we find the perfect stock.

We focus on ensuring that each individual plant is suitable for our Victorian climate. We avoid stock that is grown quickly and cheaply in hot houses and in far north Queensland to safeguard our customers from stock that will only perish once it experiences one of our cold winters or dry summers.
