Outtrim House

The School Residence in Outtrim was built in 1913. It is the only building left in it's original position in the once bustling coal mining township of Outtrim. Situated on the edge the Strezleki Ranges the spectacular views from the balcony stretch from Leongatha to Wilson's Prom and Venus Bay, Inverloch to Wonthaggi.

Outtrim is a peaceful and beautiful part of South Gippsland and is only 100mins from the CBD and 15minutes to the family friendly beaches and cafes in Inverloch. South Gippsland has a wealth of wineries, historic sites and beaches that are only short drives from Outtrim.

The property is situated on one acre of gardens with a large grassed area which is perfect for friendly summer cricket games. There is a back balcony, a courtyard and plenty of parking. There are minimal steps throughout the property making it a safe haven for children and people with limited mobility. Every room has a stunning view and the house is filled with natural light.

In the kitchen you will find gas hotplates, electric oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer and table seating at least six people. Cutlery, crockery and cooking implements are all supplied. Basic condiments, tea, coffee and sugar are all complimentary.

All bedrooms have queen sized beds with warm doonas. Sheets, doona covers and towels are supplied.

The bathroom has a separate bath, shower and toilet. There is an extra toilet on the premises also.

The lounge room has a wood heater with wood provided, comfortable couches and armchairs, TV and DVD player. Here are also a split system heaters in the lounge room and kitchen

The back balcony has a table for ten and a gas BBQ.

During the summer months there are plenty of shady spots to relax and during the cooler months you can watch the turbulent skies whilst sitting by the wood fire. Weatherboards inside and out means that temperatures are well maintained in the house.

Supermarket shopping is ten minutes drive in Korumburra, fifteen minutes to Inverloch, twenty minutes to both Wonthaggi and Leongatha.
