Nunu's Piano School

Nur Sanders has been teaching piano, keyboard and theory since 1970. Nur prepares students for AMEB exams and technical preparations for the HSC. Piano is Nur’s passion and she strives to impart her enthusiasm to all her pupils

She started her music education in 1954 at the age of 4. Her first teacher was Madame Kalyopi Koçifi who tought her till 1963. Sanders left her homeland Turkey in 1963 for Sydney and enrolled into the Conservatorium of Music to have lessons with Alexander Sverjensky; studying grade 7.

Her last teacher and mentor was Madame Leila Chalmers who took her through ATCL Diploma (Associate Trinity College London.) and first step into her teaching career.
