Nowra Golf Club has amazing views over looking the Shoalhaven river. Nowra Golf club is situated in North Nowra and serves as a function centre and a club to its members and guests, with a wide variety of functions on weekly and having the best view for a function centre on the South Coast.

Pro Shop

Our friendly Pro Shop Staff of Danny, Paul, Peter & Sam are on hand to take any bookings and inquiries. Our shop has a great range of Equipment including Clubs, Bags, Buggies, Shoes and Accessories at competitive prices.

Our PGA Professional Danny Taylor has over 20 years experience in the industry and can advise you with helpful advice on your golf game and equipment needs. Danny spent 6 years playing full time before settling down into the life as a Club Professional. He spent 11 years as the owner/operator of the Nowra Golf Range.

Danny says “I started golf here at Nowra Golf Club as a junior at 9 years of age and did my Traineeship here at the club back in the late 80’s. I have always had a great rapport with not only the Members here but all the golfers in the Shoalhaven Community as I’ve worked in the area since leaving school.”

Paul Maiolo has just finished his Traineeship and become a fully fledged PGA Professional. Paul has played all his golf at the Club from the junior ranks also and is well known in the Shoalhaven for his involvement with local soccer and cricket. Now he has put that aside to focus on the Australasian Tour and Pro-Am Circuit but works part-time in the Pro Shop when he isn’t playing.

Peter Done works part-time in the Shop also and has been a Member at the Nowra Golf Club for 25 years. He has only recently retired as Bank Manager of the local Bendigo Bank and loves his sport, especially his cricket. Peter is one of the Shoalhaven’s leading Cricket Umpires and forgoes his Saturday Golf in summer to take his place behind the stumps.

Sam Taunton also works Part-Time in the Pro Shop and plays off a Handicap of Four. Sam is studying at Wollongong University and has grown up here at the Course. He started here as a 12 year old and has won many events here at the Club and state-wide. He was Club Champion here back in 2008. Sam’s other sporting loves include AFL Football and NBA Basketball.
