Nourished

My interest in producing and promoting fermented foods came about as a result of experiences during my own health crisis. These experiences led me to an understanding that good long term health requires certain "ingredients. One of those “ingredients” is a nourishing diet.

When I came to understand that my diet was full of “food imposters” I realised that I was actually malnourished – much of what I was eating was simply filling me up but not providing the nutrients that are essential for good health.

Out of this understanding and subsequent resolution of many of my health issues, largely through changing the way I eat, my business
“NOURISHED” was created. The main aim of my business is to encourage people to think more deeply about the nutritional value of what they eat and the relationship between food and health.

I do this is by producing living (containing live beneficial microorganisms) fermented foods and beverages and by engaging in conversations wherever people are willing to listen.

I am eternally grateful to God who continually leads me on my healing journey and if I can play a part in helping revive the ancient tradition of fermenting I will be immensely satisfied.
