Northern Rivers Writers Centre

The Northern Rivers Writers’ Centre is located in Byron Bay, on the far north coast of NSW. We are a non-profit, incorporated organisation and receive our core funding from the NSW Ministry for the Arts. We are part of the Litlink network (which includes a total of eight writers’ centres in NSW). We’ve been in existence since 1994.

The NRWC supports writers throughout the far north coast, from Taree to Tweed Heads and west to Kyogle. We provide a year round program of courses, workshops and writer visits to our area.
