WHO WE ARE

Matthew 25:40 … Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.

We are a vibrant and adventurous church that is attractive to people of all ages, nationalities and social standing with a strong pastoral care ministry known for its community, hospitality and outreach.

1. VIBRANT
Titus 3:5 … He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit
We recognize that in order to survive, we must be alive and that it is only through the new birth of Salvation and a constant process of renewal by the Holy Spirit that we can remain an active and effective body of Christ. We encourage everyone to be continuously growing in their walk with Jesus through the discovery and outworking of God’s purpose for their lives.

2. ADVENTUROUS
Mark 9:23 … Everything is possible for one who believes
We are prepared to take risks to see God’s plans and purposes fulfilled in our church because it is our firm belief that when we step out in faith, God will step in. We provide opportunities and support for people to serve God in daring and creative ways.

3. ATTRACTIVE
Ephesians 5:25-27 … just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy … to present her to himself as a radiant church
We are not an Australian Church but a Kingdom Church and our doors are open to anyone and everyone. As the Bride of Christ we desire to be attractive to all who see us and we go out of our way to show others the same unconditional love that God has shown us so that regardless of how young or old someone is or where they come from or what their circumstances are – they will enjoy being with us.

4. CARE
Act 20:28 Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood.
We are committed to caring for everyone in our church family so that no one ever feels that they are alone. This is a collective responsibility whereby we all look out for each other and everyone organically receives the emotional, material, practical and spiritual support that they need, when they need it.

5. COMMUNITY
Acts 2:42 They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
We are a community of believers, devoted to fellowshipping with each other. We look for opportunities to spend time with one another, share meals together and pray together - collectively and individually, believing that the strength and health of our Church can be measured by the strength and health of our community.

6. HOSPITALITY
Romans 12:13 Contribute to the needs of the saints; extend hospitality to strangers.
We enjoy making people feel at home and making them feel special whenever they visit us. We count it a privilege to be able to use our facilities and resources to bless others with generous hospitality second to none.

7. OUTREACH
Mark 16:15 & Matthew 28:19 Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel, making disciples of all nations

We are an outwards looking church, convinced that our primary reason for being is to bring the gospel of Jesus to as many people as we possibly can and then disciple and train them to do exactly the same thing. We consider our mission fields to be anywhere that our people are called to minister, from our local community to faraway lands and we will actively pursue every opportunity that God calls us to with every resource available to us, knowing that only God can build His church but he will only do it with willing and obedient workers.
