The National Trust is not part of the government. It is an independent non-profit organisation, supported by a large community base. It is the premier heritage and conservation organisation in the state, and the major operator heritage properties open to the public.
Many heritage properties are open to the public including Polly Woodside Tall Ship, Old Melbourne Gaol, Rippon Lea House and Gardens. Working to conserve and protect our heritage for future generations to enjoy.
