All our cakes are made using only the best and freshest ingredients - local certified free range eggs, what flour, butter, cream, sugar, couverture chocolate, fresh tree nuts and wherever possible naturally derived colours and flavours. And we can cater for a variety of dietary preferences and can make gluten-free, diabetic and nut free cakes that look and importantly taste amazing.
Background:
When you call us, you'll be speaking with your cake designer, baker and decorator, Lesley Farrely. A trained chef who has worked for the last 10 years in one of South Australia's most awarded regional restaurants. Whilst looking for creative freedom in her spare time, Lesley discovered the art of cake decorating, as well as her natural ability to create cakes that delight and inspire. Lesley's natural skill in the kitchen along with her passion for food, art and fine detail led her to create Mocking Bird Cakes, and now she bakes, creates and delights for weddings, birthdays, engagements, christenings and more.
