What is Mi Sazón?

Mi sazón is born out of nostalgia, passion, and authenticity.

From the need to maintain our culture, flavours and traditions down under.

We want to share our food as a means of living and reminiscing about the homeland: traditional food and other Latin dishes with a Venezuelan twist, in a lively and vibrant environment.

We use the freshest local Perth ingredients to bring you an authentic homemade taste and quality. We want you to feel in Venezuelan whilst enjoying our food!

Our passion is our craft and our pleasure is being able to share it with you.

About me

My name is Emperatriz Lopez (a.k.a. Empera or Em), a Venezuelan and self-proclaimed Maracucha, even though I was born in Cabimas. I am passionate about our culture, traditions and flavours.

I'm sharing my culture to pass onto the next generation, so that our children feel the same sense of belonging and ownership for our history and traditions.

My desire is to introduce Venezuelan flavours to Perth's growing vibrant gastronomic culture.
