Maryborough & District Community News

Maryborough & District Community News is a free community service overseen by volunteers, sharing local news, photos and events with Victoria's Central Goldfields and surrounding region.

The service remains proudly independent, non-profit, and not affiliated with the Maryborough Advertiser, the Central Goldfields Shire Council or any other business, political, government or media organisation.

The "district" generally includes, but is not limited to, Maryborough Alma, Amphitheatre, Avoca, Bealiba, Bowenvale, Carisbrook, Castlemaine, Clunes, Daisy Hill, Dunolly, Flagstaff, Laanecoorie, Majorca, Maldon, Natte Yallock, Newstead, Red Lion, Talbot and Timor.

Everyone is free to post their own news, photos, thoughts, events, notices or promotions directly to the page, however if you have something you'd like us to post out directly, please contact us via the 'Message' button or email us at maryboroughnews@gmail.com.

While your right to free speech is respected, personal attacks, defamation, bullying, spamming or otherwise inappropriate content will not be tolerated, and administrators reserve the right to delete comments.
