When we travelled to Europe overseas we loved experiencing the local life, the people, the food and the aromas of the country, especially at the local markets. The farmers brought their quality produce to the cooks who worked their magic to bring the fresh flavours to the plate.

As we have Dutch heritage, we visited Holland during our holiday. Maastricht in Holland, a city of markets, was where we found Markt, the most famous marketplace held in the square of the same name, Markt. The discovery of the authentic epicurean delights made a lasting impression on our taste buds.

Markt is European for market and has been named after this famous Dutch marketplace, the inspiration for the menu.

Fresh handcrafted schnitzels served in artisan style European burger buns, European deli sandwiches and wraps; or our famous hot chips served in European style paper cones, are some of the mouth watering foods you will discover at Markt.

Our handcrafted approach is about taking the time, every day to create scrumptious homemade food alive with appetising, authentic homemade flavours. Only the freshest, local, seasonal produce is sourced direct from the markets. All our fresh, lean meats are carefully selected and completely natural, hormone and antibiotic free, grain fed by Australian farmers.
