Margie McClelland Photography

I am a passionate photographer living in Hay in the Riverina of NSW Australia.
Initially, being a wife and mother on the land in outback NSW, my skills developed from documenting pastoral subjects and life on large station properties. Later, a dozen trips through Africa supporting my husband Chris, an internationally renowned wildlife artist, gave me a fascination for wildlife photography. This interest was also pursued in Patagonia, the Brazilian Pantanal and the Amazon.
I worked for The Riverine Grazier newspaper in Hay for a number of years and my camera is continuing to capture a broad range of local events from sport to subjects of general interest. Some of my photographs have appeared in city media and in magazines supporting safari lodge reviews undertaken in Africa by Chris.
My photos have been shown in numerous exhibitions and I am a member of the MAP group of mainly professional photographers based in Melbourne. (Many Australian Photographers)
