Lyncoranne Angus & Ultrablacks

Lynton & Di Pratt have been breeding stud/commercial Angus and commercial Ultrablack cattle for local breeders and the retail butcher market since 1992.

The Lyncoranne Angus and Brangus/Angus cross (X)(Ultrablack) herds’ Holistic breeding operation is based on real world facts and reliable results.

Two decades of commercial breeding experience has been the groundwork for our HBR/APR strategic genetic selections, which is geared for the commercial producer and domestic butcher markets. In addition, we have been successfully breeding our Brangus/Angus (X)(Ultrablack) cattle for approximately 10 years, utilising our HBR/APR bulls.

The driving force behind our livestock and farm management methods is our commitment to a unified synergy between livestock and land. On our initial introduction to cattle breeding and biological farming practices, we implemented rotational grazing and proactive pasture improvement programs, which improved Tumbeelluwa's carrying capacity, increasing kilos of beef per hectare and our farm’s environmental sustainability.

Central to our whole farm productivity initiative, is our determination to reduce our livestock's greenhouse emissions, boost ground covers to 100% and raise our pasture’s soil and native forest's carbon sequestration levels, whilst maintaining MSA 'paddock to plate' protocols.
