Lou's Place

We focus on strengths, personal responsibility and positive change. We do this through a grass roots approach that relies on a small professional staff supported by over 50 volunteers, without whom the doors could not remain open.
Many of the women who come to Lou’s Place are in crisis and approximately 70% of women are homeless upon first presentation to the service. Most are survivors of trauma and have been living with mental health and physical health issues.
