Kulkarriya Community School

Kulkarriya Community School, founded in 1978, is an independent school situated on the Noonkanbah pastoral lease managed by the Yungngora Association from 1976.

Kulkarriya Community School first ran classes from the Noonkanbah shearing shed following a return to the station by many of its former station workers in 1976.

Currently, Kulkarriya Community School caters for approximately 92 students from K - 12 and has a strong focus on literacy and numeracy as well as indigenous perspectives through cultural events and strong involvement from AEWs.
