Purchased Feb 2015 by Carol and Andrew Iles (see our Facebook Page "Carol and Andrew Iles - Birding Guides") Kingfisher Park Birdwatchers Lodge has been run for 30 years for the benefit of wildlife and wildlife enthusiasts, beginning as a humble caravan park for birders and expanding to the Lodge it is today, offering comfortable self-contained rooms with full cooking facilities; bunkrooms and cookshed ideal for research students; camping; 4.5hectares of rainforest, orchard, and creek viewing; easy access to a wide variety of different habitats; plus expert guiding and information on local birds and other natural history.
