Guten Tag,
my name is Mareike, I'm German and my children growing up bilingual.

I created this page for 3 reasons:
First of all: There are so many things to do, to play with and eat out there you can't have enough pages which give good incentives. I'm a very tired mum (my normal condition) and sometimes (or everyday) it is hard to be full of energy and ideas for your little ones, so I would like to help with this page to keep your babies busy and happy!

Secondly: I would like to share my daughters journey. One of them (Jo-Ellen) got a condition called SOD (septo optic displasia). If you interested to learn more about this condition you can have a look here https://www.magicfoundation.org/Growth-Disorders/Septo-Optic-Dysplasia/
But in a nutshell Jo-Ellen grows up with problems to see, but because she is so young we actually don't know how severe it is, if you don't know her she seems like a normal happy little girl (unbelievable gentle and smart) with a crossed eye. Additionally we could face more problems in the future, but why talk about problems which we don't have yet ;-) and bore you?
My second child, Elsie is nearly a year old and a crazy little thing!
