I am a fully qualified Educator located in Southern River, WA, affiliated with a registered scheme.

Currently I have the following Certificates and Clearances:

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Working with Children Check
• Childcare First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxes
• Police and Medical Clearance
• Working towards Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

Philosophy:

Joyland Family Day Care aims to provide bilingual early learning and care for children in fun, stimulating, warm and nurturing environment where they can explore, have fun and be challenged with the support of a qualified educator.

• I believe that children are competent and confident individuals who are able to direct their own learning to suit their interests and needs.

• I provide opportunities and experiences for children to enhance their skills and abilities whilst also encouraging children to develop new skills and knowledge alongside the National Quality Framework and National Quality Standards.

• I actively involve children and their families in decision making as the relationship between the home environment and the education environment is to be cherished and supported.

• I have a belief that children need to feel a sense of belonging in the early years and I do this by showing respect for their families values, traditions, beliefs, religion, and individual ideals. I encourage all children in my care to learn acceptance, compassion and understanding of others through positive role modelling.

• I believe that I am able to offer children, their families and the wider community an opportunity where children take an active interest in sustainable practices and care and respect for our world. I actively promote re-using, reducing and recycling and families get involved through donating recyclable items from home.
