Jerrys Plains Veterinary Hospital (Rodger & Associates) is widely known throughout Australia and overseas as a specialist equine reproduction clinic. It continues to service thoroughbred studs in the area and the increasing non thoroughbred industry, particularly in the sphere of artificial breeding. The practice now offers excellent facilities, both for equine and small animal patients. We are committed to providing an all-round service to the local community.

Although best known for our work in equine reproduction, we have high standards in all aspects of equine practice, including lameness, medicine, surgery, imaging . At the end of Redmanvale Road in Jerry's Plains, sheltered under the sandstone cliffs of the National Park, Umavale is a broodmare farm that also houses the stables of the Centre for Reproduction Medicine of Jerry's Plains Veterinary Hospital. The Veterinary Hospital contains breeding facilities and an in-house laboratory as well as a resident veterinarian and a veterinary nurse.

The farm is attended & managed by experienced stud manager and owner, Di Rodger, previously well known as owner of the Foxes Hollow Stud near Camden,NSW 24 hours a day and seven days a week. Mares are supervised day and night and all foalings are attended and given intensive aftercare.
