Ivy Lace Gifts

Ivy lace gifts is a business that I started to set up when I was pregnant. I had been managing another retail business for 6 years, so I decided since i had been running their online website, why not do it for myself. It is something I can do from home, so when we do manage to have a baby, I can keep working while being a stay at home mum. So in february 2015 I headed down to sydney to start sourcing wholesalers. I'm aiming to carry stuff that you don't find in your big westfield shopping centres. So i'm trying to carry things from all your smaller companies, and some things I'm aiming to carry are hand made by Australian artist. I've even got a few fair trade companies lined up as well. To begin with though I haven't been able to afford to carry everything I want to, but I will slowly grow it to where I want it to be.
All the stock I carry I have on hand, so that I can make sure it is up to a standard that I'm happy to send out to someone. I've always loved to hunt down those pieces that are different and unusual, and you don't see every day. So now I'm doing it as a business.
