Ipswich Gala Doll Fair

The annual Ipswich Gala Doll Fair is one of Queensland's largest doll and bear shows and has a following of traders and collectors.
Doll Fair organiser Val Metcalfe said the show had grown since its humble beginnings in the Old Courthouse 36 years ago.
"The show is for people of all ages whether they are a serious collector or they just want to relive the nostalgia of their early childhood days," she said.
The fair runs from 9am to 2.30pm at the Ipswich Civic Centre.
Free valuations will be held from 11am to noon.
