It was always Bud's dream to build, and it was no surprise when his first job out of school was working in an engineering factory. As an adult, every time he drove past this factory he'd say "This'll be Bud’s Super Porker Producers one day". In July 1983 Super Porker Producers faltered! Bud decided it was time, his time! He could see a business just waiting to be started! He sold his car, borrowed some money from his brother and with Julie's support … Intensive Kit Constructions was born.

With a passion for building, the business started to grow. Facing many ups and downs along the way Bud and Julie could see their dream becoming reality. IKC began to flourish delivering a product and a service that many competitors couldn't.

Through friendly helpful customer service in all areas of their business - whether it's shed sales, project management or building supplies - nothing is ever too much trouble. The team at IKC focus on giving each customer personal and professional service, and always at the right price.

It's a great place to work, with regular barbeques and the occasional company field trip - it's a place you'd feel happy to call your own. Bud and Julie have always thought of their employees as 'a part of the family' - IKC Family.
