Huns' Delight (Marti) has ..... developed the, Chimney Cone.. The sweet flavoured dough cooked on the timber spit is then garnished with fabulous spices, tantalisingly filled with ice cream,, whipped cream and topping. It’s sensational and with pure decadence. Langos! sounds good, doesnt it!? so what is it you ask.
Lángos is a Hungarian fried bread which became part of the country's cuisine centuries ago.
Today it's a favourite street and fair food and eaten as an appetizer or snack, usually simply rubbed with garlic and sprinkled with salt. Variations are to serve lángos with sour cream and cheese.
The name comes from 'láng', the Hungarian word for flame.
