HENDERSONS

Hendersons federation home is situated along the beautiful Tamar River in Gravelly Beach, Tasmania. The house is on the main road - 309 Gravelly Beach Road but vehicle access is at 2 Hendersons Lane.

Hendersons has a huge solar heated swimming pool, perfect for Tassie's warmer months. It has a large front & backyard perfect for the kids to play around in.

The view from the front is just gorgeous overlooking the palms. Perfectly located on the Tamar Valley Wine Route, enjoy the scenic drive where you'll come across several cellar doors. Feel free to ask us for some suggestions.

The holiday home has a large living area for a comfortable stay. The dining area seats 6 but is roomy with a breakfast bar and extra seating if necessary. The kitchen is close by, with the essentials, (coffee, tea and sugar included).

Hendersons has 4 spacious bedrooms housing a total of 9 guests. Bedroom 1 & 2 are both at the front of the house with views of the river and both have a queen bed in each with bedroom 2 having a study desk also. Bedroom 3 has a double bed & bedroom 4 (kids room) has a double bed bunk with single on top. Hendersons has one bathroom with a shower and bathtub with a separate toilet not in the bathroom, it is located near the laundry.

For winter all bedrooms have panel heaters and extra blankets if necessary. The lounge room has a heat pump/air conditioner. For Summer we have portable fans available if required. For the pool there are some noodles and balls available if requested.

A short walk down the main road is a family friendly park, boat ramp and skate park - you'll be sure to have some fun. Perfect for the kids to play on the equipment or if your a boating fan Gravelly Beach is great for skiing and other fun activities.

Hendersons is a perfect place to relax for your next holiday.


Hendersons is approximately 25 minutes from the CBD of Launceston & approx. 40 minutes to and from the airport. Exeter is approximately a 3 minute drive from the property, which has two IGA grocery stores, a Big Bargain Bottleshop, pub/hotel, butcher, cafe, takeaway and more. Or you can drive 15 minutes to the Legana Shopping Complex which has a Woolworths, BWS, KFC, bakery, tavern and more.

Within walking distance is a small general store, a cafe/restaurant and a pizza shop. The general store opens 6 days a week. (Monday to Friday 9am-5pm and Saturdays 8am-11.30am & is closed on public holidays). Kouklas Restaurant opens Wednesday to Sunday. (Wednesday, Thursday & Sundays are 9am-4pm, Friday & Saturdays 9am-8pm). The Pizza shop 'Crustys' opens Thursday to Sunday 5pm to late.
